Randall's friend from MIT came to visit us for a day. He is a missionary in Africa. I really admired him for all the work he is doing there. The lord is really doing amazing things in a country where most of the people are Muslams.
El amigo de Randall vino a visitar por un dia. El es missionero en Africa. Realmente lo admiro bastante por todo el trabajo que esta haciendo alla. El Senor esta haciendo cosas maravillosas en una region musulmana.
Aqui Karla estaba un poco molesta, pero hasta en sus malos momentos es hermosa!

Today Also were two baptism of friends. Randall really wanted to stay for the baptism and he did, but as soon as finished he went to the spanish service with his friend Jim. As soon as I picked up my girls we went to the Spanish service, and I droped them there. There is no way I can run after Daniela with my new shoes...

Crazy Hat Contest

Here is Karla with her friend Lana in a Tea party for little girls. They had a crazy hat contest, and my friend put tea bags around her daughter's hat. Sure they looked nice. I had to put flowers around Karla's hat. They had to go walking showing their hats.

Aqui Karla con su amiguita Lana en una fiesta de nenas con te y toda la nota. Tuvieron un concurso de sombrero para ver cual era el mas loco y mi amiga le puso bolsitas de te alrededor del sombrero de su hija, salio loco pero lindo, en cambio yo, le puse tantas flores al sombrero de Karla que parecia jungla. Tuvieron buen tiempo...

They did. They run so much, and they really had a good time. We all had to go with nice dresses.

La pasaron super bien y todas tuvimos que ir con vestidos, incluso las mamas.

We will try once again to put my two princesses in the same room. We'll see if Daniela could sleep better this time. Next week I will be off at work, so maybe I could work on arranging the rooms.
Vamos a tratar de poner a mis dos princesitas juntas en un cuarto. Ojala Daniela pueda dormir mejor esta vez. La proxima semana no trabajo y podre arreglar los cuartos.

A Nice Day

It was a nice day!. After all this difficult week, today I felt better. I did some exercises this morning, and then I went to Karla's ballet class. This year she is going to perform " Cinderella" and she is very excited about it. She also is going to dance tap with a song from the 80's. She likes the song, but I am not sure if Randall would. The song is a" Material Girl" from Madonna. Anyway, today I was talking to her and suddenly I asked her.. who is the first president of the United States?. Of course she didn't know, so I told her George Washington, so I asked her again and she said...I know mommy is monkey George ( curious George). Ha Ha
Today I went to visit my friend, we spend all afternoon there. Karla had so much fun with her friend, and I got to talk to another adult, so it was really nice to be there. Karla got to ride a bike, and also play princesses. Daniela had to stay home because it was her nap time, my friend's son missed her, they are almost the same age.

Estuvo bonito el dia!. Despues de una semana dificil, hoy me senti mucho mejor. Hoy pude hacer mis ejercisios y me senti muy bien despues de eso. Despues me fui a la clase de ballet de Karlita y nos dijieron que van a bailar "Cenicienta" y tambien una cancion de los 80's de Madonna, " Chica Material". Bueno pasando a otro tema, conversando con Karla, le pregunte quien fue el primer presidente, como es de suponer claro que ella no sabia quien era, asi que le dije "George Wachington", despues de un rato le pregunto otra vez, y me contesta....Quien, a ya se mama, es Monkey George. Ella se referia al de George el Curioso, asi que no aguante y me rei bastante.
Hoy tambien me fui a visitar a una amiga y ahi estuvimos toda la tarde. Las chiquitas se divirtieron mucho, montaron bicicleta y jugaron a princesas. Mientras que yo pude conversar con otra persona adulta, la verdad la pase muy bien y ojala se repita.

Dias Cansados--Tired days

I don't know what is going on with me, but I feel very tired and without energy. Maybe is because Karla doesn't sleep well at night or because I am taking too much on my shoulder, but anyway I feel really tired. Adding my bad days, also I went to the Doctor with my Dad for his reg check up and we found out that he has some blood in his urine, which is not good news. They will do more testing on it and they also got some blood samples for further examination. Hopefully is nothing, but we still so worry for now.
I went to visit my friend, she has a baby boy. Very cute baby and she looks really great. I admired her, not everyone is getting up and already do things after the first week of delivery, but sure she is strong. I am very happy for her.
This week I will have to decide if I will go to wednesdays bibble studies or continue with my prayer group. I think it will be too much if I go to both.

No se que me pasa, me siento agotada sin energia. Quiza es porque Karla no duerme bien en las noches o quiza porque tengo demasiada responsabilidades. No se, pero anadiendo mis dias malos. Hoy fui acompanando a mi papa para su chequeo general y encontraron un poquito se sangre en la orina. Claro que el doctor ordeno mandar esta prueba para mayor examinacion y tambien le sacaron mas pruebas de sangre, ojala no sea nada pero igualito preocupa.
Fui a visitar a mi amiga que recien dio a luz a un bebe hermosisimo. Los dos estan bien y la admiro mucho ya que se levanta como si nada despues de una semana de dar a luz, ella es fuerte y estoy contenta por ella.
Esta semana tendre que decidir que hacer con estudio biblico o grupo de oracion, vamos a ver que Dios me dice.

Week Report

I can't believe is Wednesday already!. It is a good week so far. Nobody got sick at home, and yesterday I finally went to the park with my girls. I am trying to do things different, less TV and more time outside, but not always can be done as I wished.
This weekend a pastor from my brother's church is coming to California, and we probably will meet with him. He will came to Redlands and came here for lunch. We are planning to help him find help for orphanages in Peru. Hopefully everything goes fine.

Week Report

This week was also difficult. Besides Karla and Daniela were sick, mi dad had a problem and that also took most of the week trying to solve his problem. In the meantime, I still working with Karla for her Art Show. She starts to draw better now, and she recognizes the colors very well, so hopefully by then, she will be able to do it nicely.
Last Wednesday was my high school reunion. Of course, I can not go there, but my friends send me pictures and they told me how things were at the reunion. Some of them, I saw them after 30 years. How weird!!
We had a nice barbecue today. We invited my sister and we had a nice time. The weather was nice also, I really hope stays the same for next week.

Esta semana tambien fue dificl. A parte que mis princesas se enfermaron, mi papa tuvo un problema, el cual tambien tomo toda la semana de resolver. Mientras tanto, Sigo trabajando con Karla y su preparacion para el concurso de arte que se llevara en el colegio. Al menos ya dibuja mejor y reconoce como combinar los colores, eso me anima a que para la fecha adquirida ya ella lo hara mejor.
El miercoles pasado fue la reunion de ex alumnos de mi colegio. Aunque no pude ir, segui con pasos todos los movimientos de la reunion, mis companeros me mandaron e-mails y tambien fotos. A algunos de ellos no los veo desde hace 30 anios. Que raro!!
Hoy tuvimos una rica parillada. Invitamos a mi hermana y tuvimos buen tiempo.
