The Nutcracker

On December 18, Karla performed in the Nutcracker. She did the Angels and the Candy cane.
It was fun, and maybe next year she may dance some more.
She performed in two shows. We went to the 11 a.m. My parents, and Randall parents came to see her, as well as my sister Rosa. Also Karla's friend from school came to see her. It was really nice. After the show, we went to eat in our favorite peruvian restaurant "El Rico Pollo" in San Bernardino. After we ate, it was time to came back for the second show. I just drop off Karla, came back home, do some laundry and came back to pick her up.
When she came back, we took some pictures at my house, we were not able to take some pictures at the theater because of the dancer safety, but I could take some video tape in the rehearsal.

It was fun to see Daniela for the first time in the Christmas program, and also how she hold hands with her friend.

December Cards

This year, I made these Christmas cards for the business and for my friends and family.
This is the time of the year where everyone gets busy, and I think it is easier for me to send it by
e-mail. Well maybe Randall have to send it by mail, but oh well. I thought I can show a little of my work.

Karla is performing in the nutcracker this year, and also singing in many different places.
Yesterday they were at the Village, and Karla sang with the church. She had so much fun. She is looking forward to sing also at our Children's program at our church. As well as at the University of Redlands on Monday the 13th. Daniela will have her first performance this year, I'll make sure she is well rested that night.
One more week, for all the Christmas parties, songs, and performances.

I am really looking forward for Christmas, I think is very nice to have family and friends coming over and enjoy. It goes so fast !! :)

November Fun

November was really fun for us. My friend Mapy come to visit me for a week. We went to Oakland in Yucaipa, and also we went to Sea World. Mostly Tuesday which was my birthday, we stayed home, just at night we went to " El Torito" and on Wednesday we went to Palm Springs.
On Saturday we made a party with my family and most of them came. It was really fun to make barbecue.
I celebrated my birthday many times this year. With my family on Tuesday, and on Wednesday with my in-laws and the week after with my good friend Patty. It was fun especially going to different restaurants.
Karla finished this fall playing in the rain. She was really wet. She could not run as she would like to, but she did had fun. We were really cold and waiting for the game to finish, many games were canceled, but not ours.
Also Karla really enjoys reading. The last book had 190 pages, I would never do that at her aged, for me reading was really a punishment, but it is how we show enthusiasm in doing things that it counts. I also start reading books to Daniela, and she seems to like it.
A lots of play dates for Karla this month, for Daniela not so many, but I still working on having a play date at least once a month.

Daniela's Birthday

July 18, 2010 was Daniela's birthday, she is three now, and a very active toddler or girl now.
Time went very fast. In her birthday we went to Mount Baldy, is 40 minutes from here, and it is very nice, there is a small village and at the same time there are mountains around there. We meet there with my friend and ate a picnic, my friend's daughter Marissa will be three next week, so we celebrated both birthdays since we are not doing any party. My camera didn't work , I forgot the batteries, but my friend will send me the pictures later.
Later at night, my sister and Paul came over for a peruvian dinner "escabeche de pollo" requested for my mom, well she did it, I don't really know how to do it.

These are all her presents, she loves Dora, and she got two puzzles, and a car with Dora, and she got a bubble castle, and three dolls.

We had a very nice birthday for Daniela, and she enjoy it. As you can see her favorite food is rice with beans.

Karla's Graduation

She had her graduation in June 10th, 2010.

Karla has also great teachers, and she had a nice school year. We love RCS. I think we did the right thing to choose this school. Here are some photos with Mrs. Jeffers and Mrs. Thalmayer.

Karla's Birthday Pictures

Here are some of the pictures of Karla's birthday, we went to Castle Park, and we did have so much fun, I really wish we could go again soon.
The next day, some of her friends came over to play, Kai from her ballet class, Lana from the library, and Elisa from church.

Daniela love the carousel, she ask many times for it, some of the rides make her feel dizzy, so she stay with me for most of the time, maybe next year is better.






We did enjoy her birthday, she felt special and she felt very happy.

Karla's Birthday

It has been a long time since I posted something in my blog. We have been very busy. My parents came back from Lima, and with so many activities and parties, I haven't write anything in my blog.
On her birthday we had her class party also, so I brought cup cakes, and they sing happy birthday to her. It was like having a birthday party with all her classmates. The sad part was that her sister wasn't there, but later in the afternoon she was with us, so that was ok.
In the afternoon we ate pizza, and we went to Castle Park. It changed a lot since I went with Paul a while back, now we have to pay admission for each person, but it was fun. We ride many rides and we stay until late. The girls could stay awake for a long time, but next day they were so tired, they almost woke up at 8:30 am.
On Saturday some of her friends came over for a play date, and she had fun. We ate some cup cakes and then with the family we made some hamburgers.
Tomorrow it will be Karla's graduation and I hope to take more pictures. I still feel tired, hopefully next week will be better.

Tuzigoot and Montezuma AZ

These are pictures of Montezuma National Monument in Arizona. It is very nice, but it is just the castle, we couldn't hike much, but we enjoy the view.
