This is the pictures from the art show at Karla's school. She painted "Rapunzel" and " The Mountains". This event was non-competitive event, and I really like it. All of them showed the first place in many tables, so I think is really good for everybody. I also painted "My Mountains"
which turn out better than I would expect.
I end up so tired after the show. We took so long to paint and make sure Daniela didn't go into the paintings.

Estas fotos son del show de Arte presentado en el colegio de Karla. Este evento fue no competitivo, lo cual me gusto mucho, asi motiva a las ninas a seguir animandolas a seguir pintando. En la mayoria de las mesas habia desde el primer puesto hasta el tercero. Karla pinto Rapunzel y tambien las Montanas. Yo por mi parte pinte "Mi Montana" la cual me salio mejor de lo que esperaba. Que voy a hacer, no hay nada que hacer....Me quiero y Me adoro, pero mas a mis hijas.
Termine tan cansada despues del show, pues tuvimos que estar seguros de que Dani no se metia ninguna pintura en la boca.

Weekend Report

Finally Randall and I went dancing Salsa at Sevilla's. We had such a nice time, especially because it is part of my culture and who I am. We went with our friends from Puerto Rico ( Jerry and Olga) They are really nice, but they are leaving on August. Hopefully in the future they came back again to California.
We had so many invitations for play dates this week, also a birthday party at a local pizza place and also I had to go to a pancake breakfast for my nephew who plays the saxophone at his school marching band. Also my dad got a cold again, and since he is old, is taking some time to recuperated from his cold. I think he will be fine soon.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I had to choose what to do and who is going where...
Friday, I spend time with my friend Patty in the morning, but after that I had to go to a meeting with the ladies we pray from Calvary. We were going to figure it out how we are going to do things and hopefully end up with a nice solution for everyone. Since some of the moms have never been away from their children, they are concern in who take care of them, so we offer ourselves to take turns at church, to take care of their children. Hopefully the church gave us the space, and also the room for the little ones. I t is nice to see people coming to the lord.
Saturday, I had ballet and family reunion, so it went all morning. Randall had to go to work until 11 pm, so I end up very tired. I decided not to go to church this Sunday. Most Sundays, I keep running after them and it seems that they get more energy when they do it faster.Any way, I stayed home with mom and dad, since my dad need attention also, I end up cooking and going to the grocery store. In the afternoon, we went for a play date with my friend Nancy, they got so many toys there and Karla had so much fun. Daniela stay with her dad, so it was easier that way. We all enjoy our Sunday. No spanish this time, I need to go to bed before it is too late.

Week Report

My girls now sleep together, but they don't sleep at the same time as before, so they are falling a slept very late.
We had our Easter Dinner at my mother in law's house. We had some ham with potatoes and sweet potato and vegetables.
This week, Karla is going to present her paintings at the art show, so we are really excited because I help her with the drawing and part of the coloring. We are hoping to finish tomorrow. She still has two more days. On thursday , there is a Circus in town, so we are planning to go. It is my second time to go to a circus, the best is that kids are free, and we only pay for adults.
Finally, last friday I made my Barbie Cake, I find out how to make it in "You Tube". It is incredible all the things we can learn in just 7 minutes.

Finalmente mis nenas duermen juntas, lo malo es que se tardan bastante tiempo para dormirse.
La fiesta de pascua la pasamos con mi suegra. Preparo chanchito con papas, camote y vegetales. Recontra saludable la cena de pascua.
Estamos emocionadas, ya que Karla presentara unos dibujos hechos con aquarelas para un concurso del colegio en un Show de Arte que se realizara en el colegio. Ojala terminemos para manana, ya que la estoy ayudando con los dibujos y tambien parte de la pintura de aquarelas.Tambien el jueves, va a ver un circo que se presenta en esta cuidad, es mi segunda vez que voy a un circo y la primera de mis hijas, asi que estoy emocionada por eso, va a ser divertido.
Finalmente aprendi a hacer mi pastel de la Barbie, lo aprendi en "you tube", es increible todas las cosas que se pueden aprender en solo 7 minutos.

They Share the Same Room

Finally, my girls share the same room. They are sleeping in Karla's bedroom now, and they seem to enjoy it. They are there 3 days now, but we have been having difficulties during nap time. Daniela continuously gets up and she doesn't want to sleep. Of course she became cranky all afternoon, and she falls asleep anywhere in the house, which is kind of frustrating for me. Also today she sleep until 4:30 in the morning, so I was really tired. Hopefully the following nights are better...

Finalmente ellas duermen en la misma habitacion. Estan en el cuarto de Karla y parece que les gusta. Ya es el tercer dia, pero hemos tenido problemas durante su hora de tomar su siesta, Daniela se para y sale del cuarto para jugar y logico se pone de mal humor todo el dia, lo cual le hace dormir tarde y en cualquier lugar de la casa, que frustacion!!. Hoy desperto a las 4:30 de la manana y eso me canso mucho. Espero hoy sea mejor....
